Strife keeps crashing, I need help

Please note that there will be bugs and this is currently a Closed Beta edition of Strife. That being said we will be more than happy to help you get everything working 100%. Please try the following steps to see if your issue becomes resolved:

  1. Ensure you are installing the proper Strife client for your Operating System (Windows, Mac, Linux)
  2. Restart your computer
  3. Delete your startup.cfg which is in different locations based on your Operating System
    • Windows: Documents\Strife\game\
    • Linux: ~/.config/strife/game/
    • OS X: /Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/Strife/game/
  4. Upgrade Graphics Card Drivers
  5. Ensure you are using the latest DirectX version
  6. Check for Operating System updates
  7. Check for Strife updates by relaunching Strife
